Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Buyer criteria: preferred locations, budget, funding method, purchase timescale, investment strategies, experience and property preferences.
  • Property information: the address, type, tenure, occupancy, condition, price expectations and any details you choose to share about the property.
  • Circumstances: your reason for selling and preferred timescale. Some sellers choose to tell us about bereavement, financial difficulty or health. Please only share what you are comfortable with; we use it solely to understand which options suit you.
  • Booking details: if you book a call, your name, email address, chosen time and anything you type into the booking form, collected through our booking calendar.
  • Communications: records of emails, messages and calls between us.
  • Verification information: if you go on to buy or sell through us, identity and source-of-funds documents we are legally required to check under anti-money-laundering rules.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.

3. How and why we use it

UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each way we use your information.

We do not make decisions about you using solely automated processing, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above:

  • Buyers, sellers and their advisers, only with your agreement and only when you want to progress a particular opportunity.
  • Professional advisers such as solicitors, surveyors and accountants acting on a transaction.
  • Service providers who host our website, run our CRM, email and phone systems, provide our online booking calendar (Calendly), and carry out identity checks. They may only use your data on our instructions.
  • Regulators, law enforcement or courts where we are legally required to.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and buyer criteria: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Transaction and anti-money-laundering records: 5 years after the business relationship ends, as required by law.
  • Financial records: 6 years, for tax and accounting purposes.

After these periods we securely delete or anonymise the data.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data;
  • ask for your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.

8. Contact preferences

We will only contact you about property opportunities if you have agreed to it on our forms. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing [email protected], and we will stop.

9. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The booking calendar on our Booking page is provided by Calendly, which may set its own cookies when it loads; see Calendly's cookie notice for details. If we add other cookies in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections. Only people who need your information to do their work can access it.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
